Mr. Ellis began his photographic career specializing in black & white imagery and large-format film landscape photography. His photographic focus today is on capturing avian flight and wildlife | plant interactions. Andrew worked as an environmental scientist characterizing toxic chemical waste sites for the Environmental Protection Agency. He completed his career in the insurance risk management field. Andrew’s scientific education includes a bachelor’s degree in microbiology and a master of science degree in plant ecology. His current research interests are devoted to the study of paleontology, mass extinctions and their relation to climate change. Andrew has been a volunteer with The Climate Reality Project for over a decade and currently serves on the LA-Chapter Leadership Team as Legislative Committee Chair. Andrew currently serves on the Leadership Team of the Climate Reality Project’s CLIMATE BUSINESS ADVOCACY CAMPAIGN, an international group of climate leaders focusing on legislation and funding to develop sustainable, resilient businesses.
